The Kalish curriculum relies heavily on exercises developed from real life news situations. We work mostly in groups and every group is required to make decisions on thorny visual choices, then defend those choices in front of the group. You will be expected to explain your decisions about picture selections for both multimedia and print platforms. Everything is seasoned generously with conversations about how to manage implementation of your ideas.
